Language and the space in-between
December, 2021, Leeds.

A research exhibition exploring all things language, which took placed in Leeds between the 10th-12th December 2021. The research exhibition, consisting of ten femxle artists, aimed to provide a space for the artists featured to further their explorations as they explore the power that language possesses by considering semiotics and symbolic meanings as well as aesthetic utilization.

COMFY
December, 2019, Leeds.

Through curation as an artistic medium, the main aim Lottie wishes is to allow people to feel comfortable within fine art surroundings. The idea of allowing different audiences to experience exhibitions is made possible with people feeling comfortable within the environment, and ‘COMFY’ is intended to embody just that. All artists included in the exhibition responded to the word COMFY in any way in which they felt fitting.

COMFY is more than paintings on a wall, it is an energy aimed at surrounding viewers as they entered the exhibition this being made possible through the relaxed, non-white cube setting and DJ sets playing curated music including the genres RnB, soul and Hip-hop.

All profits from tickets sold went to Abigail Housing Charity.

DIVERGENCE
August, 2019, Woodgreen, London

Divergence included 16 female artists: seven painters, four illustrators, three photographers and one textile designer. All addressing different themes and styles within our work therefore the exhibition would be truly unique and exciting. The exhibition was an all female line up with an all female DJ line up to accompany the opening night, this exhibition was therefore a female empowerment event within its own right. The pieces sold and donations made from the exhibition went towards Solace, woman’s aid Charity.
